There is no limit to the amount of protein foods you can eat in the first three weeks, but you need to ensure that you get at least 150g per day. Nor is there any limit to the amount of fat that you eat, so long as it is healthy fat. What you won’t be eating are all of the cereals, breads, pastas and sweets you may be used to. For it is these carbohydrate- based foods, especially refined sugars, that caused you to lay fat down on your body in the first place.
